Scientists used a computer simulation program to discover the amazing fact that even as humans cause global warming, global warming itself causes more global warming and that creates a snowball effect that will cause the planet to hurtle into global warming catastrophe much faster than previously thought (Arctic trees will make things warmer, Bangkok Post, February 10, 2010).

The snowball effect supposedly has two causes. First, as warming causes trees to migrate north into previously barren Arctic tundra, the new vegetation darkens the cover of the land and the darker color absorbs more sunlight.. Secondly, trees transpire H2O and H2O is a known heat trapping greenhouse gas.

We are told that we must act fast to reduce CO2 emissions from fossil fuels to save the planet from killer trees although it is probably already past the tipping point because “whatever we do is not going to be fast enough to stop the changes that we are seeing”.

Global warming science is getting stranger and stranger. Is it any wonder that climate scientists have lost their once iron clad credibility and their ability to scare us at will? There is not much for global warming skeptics to do these days except to sit back and watch these people self destruct.
